DSIT Solutions, for the second time, exhibited in a joint booth with Rafael, at the UDT conference and exhibition in Naples, Italy, June 5 through 7, 2007.  The two companies enjoy a warm collaborative relationship in the field of sonar and acoustics.

At the exhibition DSIT exhibited its improved AquaShield Diver Detection Sonar (DDS) system that provides automatic detection, tracking and classification of targets without the need for operator intervention. The Company also presented its Mobile Acoustic Range (MAR), Acoustic Signal Analysis (ASA) and Generic Sonar Simulator (GSS).

At the event, DSIT was proud to disclose the recent order for the AquaShield DDS by the large oil terminal, NaftoPort, to provide underwater security for their site at the Gdansk Port in Poland. This order is claimed to be the first time that an underwater security system has been purchased by an energy related coastal facility; and DSIT is proud to be leading in this important area of Homeland Security.
