DSIT showcased their AquaShield DDS at Underwater Defense Technology 2008, in Glasgow from June 9 – 11. The company shared a large booth with Rafael in the center of the exhibition hall. Visitors from Europe, Africa, Asia and the USA stopped by to hear details about the company's naval solutions, and in particular, the AquaSield DDS.

A presentation given on the first day of the conference by Dan Ben-Dov, DSIT's VP Sales and Marketing, awakened a good deal of interest in the AquaShield. The presentation focused on the urgent need for adequate response time once a threat has been detected and classified – something that the AquaShield DDS system was specifically designed to provide. Many of the visitors commented on how important this aspect of the system is in choosing an underwater surveillance system. 

Mr. Ben-Dov commented that "UDT is an important event and we definitely benefited from our participation in both the conference and the exhibition. Several of the people who visited the booth showed serious interest in the AquaShield and the company's Mobile Acoustic Range. We are already making plans for the 2009 event in Canes."
