| DSIT receives an $8M Order for Sonar and Underwater Acoustics System from Israeli MoD 21/6/2007 DSIT Solutions Ltd. (DSIT) announced today that it has won the bid to supply the Israeli Navy with a state-of-the-art training simulator for its Dolphin submarines. The contract is valued at approximately $8M (US). Dan Ben-Dov, DSIT’s Vice President for Sales & Marketing commented, “We are pleased to receive an order of this magnitude from such a reputable customer, which indicates the high level of confidence placed in our products and technology. DSIT also plans to continue its marketing efforts directed at promoting our advanced long-range Diver Detection Sonar (DDS), which we see as our flagship system. We have found that there is a growing awareness among both military and commercial customers of the need to protect critical marine and coastal facilities against underwater threats, and we feel particularly equipped to meet this challenge.” According to Benny Sela, DSIT’s CEO, “for the past 15 years DSIT has worked closely with the MoD and in particular with the Israeli Navy on a range of advanced sonar and acoustic related projects.
